I feel as though lately I have been sucked into this trap with technology. When riding on a train I am constantly looking down at my phone trying to pass time. Getting home and turning on the TV instead of reading that book that I bought a few months ago. I feel like we take for granted everything little thing that is around us.

Chloe and I went out for the day and tried to remember why we live in this amazing city. I asked her where she wanted to shoot and she told me “the Lions Gate Bridge”. I asked her why she picked there out of all the places. She said it was her favorite place in the city. Being able to see the city tops of Downtown Vancouver, the ocean, the mountains, and all the moving cars around her was the most amazing feeling ever. She wanted the video to be very organic and personal. For most of the video I kept the sound in of everything that was going on around her.

Take time to be with yourself. Be present. Take a walk in your own backyard and listen to everything around you. Always be yourself.
