My name is Megan Obrigewitsch, a dancer turned photographer from a small town in Saskatchewan. After living in Vancouver as a dancer for over 4 years, I picked up my camera in 2018 and began to create and learn a new form of art.

A Little About Me

Moving back home to Saskatchewan brought a refreshing change in pace that allowed for greater reflection and creativity in my work as a photographer. Despite the slower rhythm of rural life, my passion for shooting action scenes quickly livened things up. Whether it was the energy of local sports events or the dynamism of community gatherings, I found myself drawn to the vibrancy that emerged through my lens, blending the calmness of home with the excitement of real-life moments.

Shooting the Action

Traveling and exploring different environments present endless opportunities for photography, especially in the realm of action shots. Whether it's capturing a surfer riding a wave, a mountain climber scaling an impressive peak, or a dancer lost in the moment, the thrill of documenting these experiences is incomparable.

Every photo taken during these travels contributes a unique perspective to the narrative of discovery, making the pursuit of action photography not just a hobby, but a fulfilling way of life.

Why I Do This

I strive to create an environment where my clients feel truly like themselves to capture those raw and unique moments. Each session is designed to center around you and your vision, allowing for genuine expressions and connections to shine through.

I do this because I love it. The joy of witnessing these moments unfold and the privilege of documenting them is what drives me. Each click of the shutter is more than just a photo; it’s the encapsulation of a fleeting moment that deserves to be remembered forever.
